The R&D staff of 4 has 40 plus years of developing softgel products ranging from cutting edge sophisticated paste formulas to the standard commodity products. One of the main secrets to insure capsule integrity throughout shelf-life is a manufacturer’s ability to understand the complicated relationships between ingredient interactions within the softgel and how they will react once encapsulated in a production environment. CSI’s product development team has staked their name on bringing products forward from a laboratory environment and into the production process while ensuring capsule integrity throughout product life.
 

Research and Development is directly responsible for New Product Development from bench scale and pilot runs to full scale manufacturing of soft gelatin capsules.
The department has processes including compliance with FDA cGMP and assesses production efficiencies for new and existing products.
