Quality Assurance

TheQuality Assurance (QA) group operates on all shifts completing checks at various steps of theproduction process to insure conformity through out the production process. Prior to the encapsulation process, QA personnel check the softgel shell for color and viscosity.

Between the encapsulation process and tumbler drying steps, QA checks fill-weight and ribbon thickness, and carries out a seam check.


After the drying step QA performs what is known as the 1st inspection the size, shape, seam integrity, and hardness properties of the capsules are checked.

Following the 1st inspection, the capsules are polished then inspection by our automated vision inspection system for capsule conformity and immediately bulk packaged by our automated packaging system.
